The margins in this league are so incredibly small that if you're NOT pushing it to the absolute limit of legal, you're starting every snap at a disadvantage.
That's a wholly unfair expectation of a team, let along one single player. And again, it's essentially unprecedented.
I'm tired of "well why doesn't Taylor just...{insert remedial action designed to accommodate league ****ery}?" How 'bout the league stop the goddamn ****ery instead?

We’ll we’re just three weeks into the season and he’s had one penalty late in the 4th quarter of week 1 that led us to a 4th and 20 do-or-die situation along with another penalty in week 3 that wiped a long TD off the board and got our QB injured the very next play. So he’s already contributed heavily to our only loss AND is indirectly responsible for our QB getting hurt.
He’s had his time of skirting the rules and testing the limits. Whether they’re targeting him or not, there is no guarantee that they’ll stop so now it’s on him to be more careful.
I noticed when he was taken out yesterday his backup came in and was extremely close to the LoS and didn’t notice much of a drop off from our 20 million dollar man.
It can be done.
