You’re actually rounding the bases to get back to my point, though. The HC-QB combo is more important for a team’s success than the GM. Not to say that the GM isn’t important, but you get a legendary HC-QB combo and all of a sudden those drafts and FA acquisitions start looking a hell of a lot better.
I feel like we’re talking in circles here around the elephant in the room. Can you see what I’m saying? The hypothetical Staylor posed asked me which GMs I thought would be able to replicate the same success we’ve enjoyed over the last 6 years with Veach, aka a budding dynasty. BelichickGM has built two full-fledged dynasties with the help of a GOAT HC-QB combo. He’s got a GOAT HC-AB combo here. Can you agree that it is possible that he’d do the same here since he has already done it twice before under similar circumstances?
