If this same team was in Atlanta it certainly wouldn’t be called Americas team because they don’t have the history. KC is one of the OGs, they have iconic fans who support win or lose, and they have superstardom. It’s such a rare combination. I mean the bulls and warriors and patriots were hardly iconic legacy franchises before they struck gold.
I feel like the closest we had to this with Aaron rodgers. But dude doesn’t have nearly the same marketability and his dynasty was linked to one Super Bowl appearance.
