This is 100 percent a Golden Era. How many 5-year periods in NFL history are better than this? 3 Super Bowl appearances, 2 wins, 5 AFC title games, 75-21 overall.
If this isn't a Golden Age, what the **** is?

Well, last I checked, the other teams don't have the best qb/te combo on the planet and alleged greatest play designer/playcaller in NFL history. So if those things are true, and now you throw in a top 3 defense, this is Superbowl win or massive failure territory.
It just is.
If they fall short this season because the Ringling Brothers weren't available for all of our 3rd and 1 needs, and Andy is so bored with "just line the **** up and play football" that he has to call Harlem Globetrotter shit that often times removes his best qb on the planet from running the play, then that is an unmitigated disaster worthy of every ounce of criticism there is.
You can point to great plays like the strip scoop pitch score, and how many games we won, but this is a superbowl team. Defending champs.
If they don't make it, this is another wasted year of Patrick Mahomes career. I just don't see any other way to look at it.
"At least they were fun to watch" is horseshit.
The 2003 Chiefs were fun to watch too.
