I have a buddy that is returning to Thailand to retire (he worked there for most a decade)...he loved everything about it. Thailand is about 10-15% (?) more expensive than Viet Nam, but still about 40% less than USA. Do a little reasearch...the beaches, weather, festivals, are pretty ideal.
