Of course they can afford Jones, if they want to. He is a 27 million cap hit this year so 28-30 next year is not adding a thing.

Simple shit. All you are doing is trying to be some sort of KC fan police for moves that haven't even happened yet. If Veach resigns him you won't say they could not afford it, you'll say, "Wow, That's great!!".
