Chris Jones has more value than Frank Clark had at his 20 million contract despite the fact Clark wasn’t 30 he was already playing like a dude that was 35.

The way I see it if you can want to keep a balanced build you keep Jones and let Sneed walk.

If they decide to move on from Jones I think they should just let Sneed go too and use the resources to build an elite offense again instead of a good defense and a a mediocre offense.
There are no 'rules'. It's not that simple. The only rule is the cap, and what you have to do to get under it, and what the consequences of that are.

In extending Thuney, they got his cap number down to $13m this year, but it balloons next year to 26m.

There's a real problem here, and it'll be interesting to see what Veach's plan is. There's an awful lot of good players up, and not much money.

I don't know what he's going to do, but I sure can't see tying up half your cap in three guys.

I'm sure there are plans and contingency plans.
