Primary point is to push back on the "we don't have enough to sign our own" mantra and remind fellow fans we can turn around the WR room in a single offseason. Truth is that there are 100 other more creative ways to distribute those contracts that results in the same that I'm not savvy enough to be familiar with, but I'm pretty sure Brett Veach is.

You can be as savvy as you want, the problem is that the bill comes due. If you're willing to have a couple of shite years to maximize one year, sure you can do it.
But I'd prefer to be a contender for the Super Bowl EVERY year.
