I have interviewed and turned down several remote positions in the past 6 months. For some reason if you work from home they think you should take a 25-30 percent pay cut. Remote days are over. All of my “work” friends that went remote have been called back to an office or are facing termination.
I interviewed with a company this week and I told them I make XXX and they offered me XX. For some reason they were shocked when I didn’t want to take a 40K per year hit.
