Clothesline tackle has been unnecessary roughness since the 1960's or 1970's.
Officials are so confused by facemask and horse collar rules that they think clothesline tackle is legal because it is not a facemask grab or a horse collar.
That was a clothesline tackle by Cowboys 95. Must still be illegal.
