Myself my older brother and younger brother are coming to town. Neither of them have ever been to a game at Arrowhead. Big props to George Blowfish! Thanks for the opportunity to sit in your seats! He's truly a stand up guy that could have sold those seats for a lot more.

So this is your standard what to do in KC but leaning heavy on individual BBQ joints. Older bro is the grill master and shys away from big corporate chains.

Current itinerary is.
Friday fly in at 730ish pick up a rental car hit the liquor store and check in to the air b&b in Independence. We will probably want to pick up something quick to eat. (Bbq?)

Saturday 1 pm stadium tour Meet 2 cousins for dinner we think the original Joe's location DT

Sunday go to the game early and tailgate go to dinner after with different cousin and her husband maybe some more family?? Bbq probably

Monday. Probably go see family in Topeka and Osage city ks.

Tues day time ? Fly out late Tues

So Sunday the air B&b has a pos BBQ and we cant do a real cook on it. we may pick something up to reheat or else our tailgate is going to be brauts and similar lame easy stuff.

So looking for recommendations for food and things to do. We have some time to fill outside of the obligatory trip to the George Brett Statue. (Anyone want to meet up) I have a hobby auto shop so I'm fully versed in the different brands of antifreeze.

If there is CP tailgate of any sort I'd love to meet some of you. I would really like to give my bro's a great trip.we have a gold parking pass so it looks like we come in gates 4 to 7 whatever that means. Tips on parking food entertainment are greatly appreciated. Both brothers are members here but they have even less posts than I do.

As always I'd highly recommend to check out the jazz schene. There's always someone playing but there's a jazz and blues jam at BB's Lawnside at 2pm on Saturday, the guy who leads it is a beloved boomer in the KC jazz community and is always fantastic. so that's my recommendation

https://www.livejazzkc.com/home <- a list of (not all) jams in the KC area that is always updated
