It's rhetorical, but anyone that isn't in a state of denial fully realizes that McDoesn'tKnow doesn't know offense, and that if it ever came down to a popularity contest between him and Allen, he wouldn't stand a chance, in any way, shape, or form. He's catering to Allen.

It's also my position that the reason why he won't hire a noted OC capable of making this offense run on all 8 cylinders optimally, is that he doesn't want to be replaced by that person after his defenses continue to fail us in the playoffs while the offense shines. That position is very much in line with this piece by Dunne.

And BTW, Dunne is typically incredibly well researched. He doesn't just float garbage for clicks as some have speculated.

He's a dead-man walking, it's just a matter of how long Pegs keeps him around. Beane's in no position to fire him on his own. He'll likely be the one that delivers the pink-slip, but he's not going to stab the guy that gave him the job under the unlikeliest of circumstances.

It’s a common theme to discredit an article by stating that it’s for “clicks”. Which in this case is especially odd, since “for clicks” is a phrase that indicates that the author wrote something inflammatory to drive click-traffic that increases advertising revenue. But Dunne doesn’t get paid for clicks (he has zero ads).

It's inevitable at this point that McDermott won't be coaching here for much longer.

I don’t disagree with the conclusions, but sourcing a manifesto like this with the isaiah mckenzie’s and quinton spain’s of the world has me actually defending mcdermott. Every NFL coach who’s been around for 7+ years has accumulated a list of disgruntled ex’s . So out of 300+ players, coach and staff mcdermott has had the last 7 years, one psycho reporter has religiously tracked down anybody who might have a beef with mcdermott. Reporter comes off as unhinged.

If this is true and Morse drew a Jordan logo on his boots, that’s an issue. Making fun of the HC shows you don’t respect him. If players aren’t respecting the HC, it’s time to fire him for sure.



I’d really hate for our failure to get to the Super Bowl being McD. If he’s and issue I would hope Beane would have addressed it. Unless he has no say in the coach, as has been stated on these boards before.



Kinda would like the players to and and get him fired. If we make the playoffs, it will be McD’s “doing” and save his hide.
