It’s not great but this isn’t the 2012 season either.
This just isn’t going to be the year but this team isn’t a pending patriots decline either. There is a young core of good talent. The players are just making some decisions easier.
It’s going to be time to let some names go to FA or get traded and start looking for hungry talent.
Chris Jones can go. His play isn’t going to be worth the price. There are several players that just don’t look like they care right now…and some aren’t insignificant.
That said….it is what it is and I’m glad these games don’t mean as much to me as they did 20 years ago.
