They were pissed off at the end of 2021 and further motivated by naysayers after we traded away Tyreek Hill. Led to a 17-3 season and Super Bowl win. They overachieved and played great team football and Mahomes was clearly the best player in football
In 2023, the fire isn’t there, guys were more satisfied. Mahomes is off his game, the play calling is worse, the receivers regressed, the discipline is worse
Maybe going one and done will light the fire under everyone’s ass again like the 2021 season did
