This feels like an overreaction to a bad game. We aren’t done. Think about this. The playoffs are gonna be very matchup dependent. For example, I like our chances against the ravens. They don’t have dominant edge rushers. Say what you want about the raiders but they have dominant edge rushers. Our tackles are our worst weakness. PM can overcome a lot but instant pressure is hard for any qb to overcome.. I don’t like our chances against the browns b/c they have stronger edge rushers. I also like how we matchup defensively against the ravens. Our DBs can cover their WRs. And we have speed at LB to help contain Lamar. Plus, we’ve had slumps before. Remember when defenses started having two high safeties and it took us a long time to adjust? I know this is much worse, a different universe of worse but with the right matchup and a little luck. We can definitely be in the mix. PM and Kelce are competitors and they will keep fighting to fix this. I’d rather the problem be on offense than defense because I have more faith that we can turn it around. I also get the fact that we could be one and done in the playoffs. I’m just thinking many are underestimating the likelihood that we can turn this around. We could possibly win it all if we get 24 points every game with this defense.. Yall really don’t believe that Andy and Pat can get us 24 points a game? Come on. Especially with the right matchup? Please. Yall gotta be kidding me.
