So, I know lots of people hate the idea of a roof on the stadium the Chiefs play in at home, and apparently voters in Buffalo feel the same way.
However, I don't understand why anyone, anywhere, would be against a retractable roof.
I think maybe the concept of retractable is too complicated for them to understand.
So, the roof can be closed, stopping rain and snow from filling the stands and making the field trash.
So, the roof can be opened to expose players and fans to the elements. Just like a stadium without a roof.
You can literally have it both ways.
I don't think I can explain it better than that.
When the game was invented, outside was the only option. That doesn't make it the best option for today's game.
