Many of them have even said as such. They get stuck in neutral on occasion. It's been rare that they've been fired up and just played poorly. Mostly its a sort of malaise that overtakes them.

These boys take notes and they've seen a lot. It takes a bit to get 'em fired up. I think this will do it.

5-6 years? You mean those years we ended up with HFA? you mean in 2019 the season after we lost in the AFCC game? Where we won the SB? You mean the Run it back season in 2020 where we did run it back until injuries derailed our SB? Every year where we've won twelve games or more? You mean this year where our QB is getting so pissed he's slamming his helmet around? Or all the other years where our QB balled out with injuries that would have sidelined most players? It sounded cool and all but I don't think it's true. Do you think we would be less motivated this week if were at home and the overdog?
