I understand what you're saying, but the postseason success stands on its own. You can compare the Ravens' playoff wins, AFCCG appearances, and SBs to franchises with much longer histories--which should bias it in favor of the older franchises--and the Ravens come out ahead of multiple of those teams combined in absolute terms.
