James was on the board in 2018 for the Ravens. They traded out of the spot in a series of moves that ultimately resulted in Hayden Hurst and Lamar Jackson (a draft where the Ravens also took Mark Andrews, Orlando Brown Jr., Zach Sieler, and several other guys still starting in the NFL). Really stuck in the craw for Ravens fans that they didn't take James, but that was alleviated when they wound up getting Hamilton. He's what fans who wanted James hoped we would get back in 2018; like James, Hamilton was all-rookie team and then first-team all pro by his second year.
Will be really interesting to see if he matches up against one of the two best TEs ever in Kelce who has started to look like himself recently. Hamilton is two inches taller than James and is almost the same height as Kelce. That's a matchup people were talking about from the day he was drafted.
