I'd probably try to get an extension done.

But hell man, we got him so cheap, his base next year is only about $7 million. You get the guy he's been over the latter 1/3 of this season for a half a year and that's worth $7 million.

But yeah, if you can give him a $8 million extension that also kicks about $5 million of that 2024 into 2025, I'd do that. Go ahead and guarantee the money for 2025 and you essentially end up getting the guy on a 3 year, $24 million deal.

That's a bargain.
