That third round is where you can do a fair bit of damage if you're willing to be patient. It's a spot where a lot of tooled up guys go that need to be developed a little more.
Moving up is going to cost you a 3rd this year and probably a little more on top of it. With as little draft capital as we have, that's a tough ask.

I get it, can't disagree it's a bummer to lose picks, and those spots are where you really fill out those positions. But man, if it's Franklin and then a bigger project in the
rounds...I think I'm OK with that. Imo the LB we need is a coverage guy and they seem surprisingly available late, I'm pretty bought into Chenal as the guy and frankly i wouldn't be surprised if Cam Jones is a decent run stuffer. A Smith replacement is a tough one.
If we get a Mitchell, or a Wilson or Burton I'm probably hoping to double up later in the draft anyway. So it feels like I'm always circling back to having to find gems later on.
