Chris was never going to sign before hitting FA.
Veach will try to get him back, but Chris will need to show that he’s actually willing to leave and convince teams he’s legitimately looking for a deal to sign with them and that they aren’t being used to get a better deal from KC.
Sneed will get traded for a 2 and a 4 and we will get CJ95 re-signed for 5/150. Possibly less aav, but I think that’s the basic outline that will be sold as “I was offered more by more than one team, but I want to finish what we started!” Kinda thing.
We should also get at least 1 5th round comp from last offseason…and possibly 2.
