You could also move on from (or extend) Reid to free up some cash. There are plenty of ways to keep Sneed if they really want him. The problem is if they are getting offered a 1st round pick from someone, they are going to take it either way. That’s 5 more years of a 1st round, cost controlled talent and we are ridiculously deep at corner.
This is really a numbers game with Sneed. They clearly think the value he brings via trade is too good to pass up for the long term future with the depth we have at the position. I freaking hate it but it is what it is. They know what they are doing.
