You can't just dismiss production when we're talking about a 3-4X multiplier in salary.
I'll do the math, but at a glance - Hollywood hasn't outproduced Mecole by *that* much, especially considering how many more targets he's received than Mecole.
If we had a metric ****ton of cap space, or didn't need to kick another eleventy billion of Mahomes money down the road just to sign guys, I really would be indifferent.
But money does matter, and if I can get 80% of the production and role for 25 cents on the dollar, I'm going that route.

Their use is dramatically different though. Hollywood plays like a real WR. Hardman is a gadget player. In the 700 yard year he had a bottom 3 in the league YBC/R. Basically all his yards were manufactured.
