Dude averages 105 targets a year for 728 yards. 6.93 YPT
Mecole with his injury season pace extrapolated to a full season?
63 targets for 522 yards - 8.28 YPT.
Mecole is doing more with less. Why the hell pay someone more to do less? Hollywood ain't getting 150 targets in this offense like he did in his 1,000 yard season.

Tbf Mecole has had Mahomes throwing to him and has caught damn near 70% of his targets. Brown has had shitty Kyler Murray, shitty Josh Dobbs, shitty Colt McCoy, David Blough (who?), Tracey McSorley (what?), and before that his QB wasn't even an actual QB. He's only caught 59.6% of his targets from shitty QBs. If he has better QBs throwing and caught closer to 70% of his targets over that time that puts him at 368 catches instead of 313 receptions. Use his 11.6 ypc and now he has 400 more yds and that puts him at 7.71 yards per target.
