If KU loses (probably will) to Gonzaga, it’s just a shrug your shoulders Tournament. About what we expected and at least we didn’t have some memorable upset loss.

This year is obviously much more the exception than the rule with Self. Just so many things going wrong all in one year. In 20+ years at a school, it’s bound to happen a few times (kinda like 2019 or 2021).

Self turned 2019 into a team that absolutely could’ve won the tourney in 2020 and turned 2021 into a tourney champ in 2022.

Wouldn’t shock me to see us rebound in a major way. Especially if Dickinson and Furphy come back. Those two plus McNeeley would be a nice start with the incoming class we already have.
