The legal sleuths are acting like there will be a tontine like in the Simpsons season 7, episode 22.
Rice will have to be candid about who was driving with his lawyers and his insurer if he wants his insurance coverage to provide most of the money for any liability. And he will have to be candid with Chiefs and NFL.
There is a James Cagney movie titled, Never Steal Anything Small.
If Rice shows a lack of candor from today forward he would be screwing himself big time to avoid manageable consequences.
If the medical bills and property damage are within policy limits, there is nothing much to gain with clamming up over something like this.
Rice needs to follow, "Don't be an asshole." and him not being truthful will be worse than the racing and the crash.
