I think my wife pronounces it "Air-Mez". I assume she's got it down since she's really into the fashion thing. I don't think she shops at Air-Mez, though, or at least I hope she doesn't.
I want to be all grounded and say that I don't pay for prestige, but the truth is I'm a lemming in some areas. I owned BMW roadsters for 20 years and I wasn't buying them for the performance. I was into the Nike "make your own" shoes for a long time until they got too generic. And if I have to dress up, Armani suits are really comfortable.
Other than the Armani (which are so comfortable), those are mainstream brands, though, and I don't see myself ever moving further up the food chain.
