It’s interesting that you point out the most rosy of scenarios which happens to be kinda opposite of the behavior Rice has exhibited going back to college. Keyshawn Johnson knows Rashee. Do you? Keyshawn Johnson mentioned that Rashee had red flags going back to college that caused him to fall in the draft. I don’t know what those red flags were, but if true I’d argue that it seems his behavior is getting worse based on this street racing bullshit. Your hypothesis is based on absolutely nothing other than wishful thinking.
Make no mistake, this is a “line in the sand” moment for this young dude. But we’ve seen the Chiefs remove problems from the roster before and the reality is that none of us knows anything about Rashee Rice or what’s going on behind the scenes. To pretend otherwise is absurd.
