Drugs? My understanding is that the NFL can't test until four months prior to the season, so there I would guess that there is unlikely to be a drug element, even if found.
Guns? pure speculation by someone with clear biases in the video - but even so, does Texas not have some of the most lax gun laws? Again, I have a hard time seeing that turning into a thing the NFL can act on.

There is no reason that any state could say anything about having guns in the car as long as you are not a felon. The police and DA can speculate all they want but that is a right in the constitution for all citizens.
That being said, until recent years, Texas did not allow open carry. Yes, you read that right. That shocked me when I first learned of that several years ago. But I do believe they changed that law a few years ago.
Edit: Before someone jumps all over me, yes, I do realize that some states don't allow just anyone to have a gun. All I am saying is that those states are not following the founding docs. And, as I recall, the Supreme Court weighed in on this at least twice in the past 10-15 years.
