This show was really well done. It reminded me of Game of Thrones with all of the political subterfuge.

The actors knocked it out of the park, too. I found myself liking pretty much every character, even the ones who were on the other side. Yobushige, Saeki, Buntaro, Toranaga’s son- all were ****s to varying degrees but they had some positive qualities.

It’s hard to believe an entire culture could have such an obsession with death.

I’m still upset about Fuji’s son. **** anyone who would sanction the murder of an infant because his father spoke out of turn.
