Blues remove the interim tag from Bannister and name him head coach; 2 year extension.
Well that's....anticlimactic. Just feels lazy and uninspired.
The team didn't meaningfully change a bit under Bannister. The record was a little better built largely on the dead cat bounce that came right after Chief got fired but otherwise was identical to what they were under Berube.
If you fire Berube and replace him with this guy...why? It was the same team. Just feels like they're content treading water. It's a Mozeliak move.
