Prison has to suck, but knowing that you were a baller, and you are rich, it has to suck even more. Like, yeah, they can buy protection, etc. or keep their commissary full, but going from living the NBA lifestyle, and being free, to being locked in a cage for for a couple of years, would be sickening.
Edit: Real criminals may not have anything on the outside waiting for them, so it makes being inside easier. But, if you knew you had a big house, nice cars, nice clothes, maybe even a personal chef, and probably a smoking hot trophy wife, etc., being locked up might be unbearable. If this was China he could just pay someone to do his time.

Keyon Dooling's had it rough, man.
Some pretty ****ed up stuff in his childhood, had a nervous breakdown while playing for the Celtics. And man, 30 months in the federal 'pen when we have dudes out there robbing, stealing and shooting at each other and not getting prosecuted at the state level is just damn odd.
Feel a little bad for him - he's probably never going to be fully 'right' in the head.
