My hope is that this is the first life of many. That I am in a simulation. My brain or consciousness or whatever is stored away somewhere giving me the ability to have many more lives, on different planets, time period, who knows.
I'm not even joking but I would pay good money to have my brain preserved or frozen...however it can be preserved in the hope that this could be achieved someday down the line. There is a very good chance what we are living right now is not base reality. Of course we could just die and nothing happens. Our energy and synapses in our brain just are absorbed into the universe. The real end goal of life is to get to the heat death of the universe where nothing will ever occur again. All energy will be expended.
