At one point, society decided to try to be better and not give into our base instincts.
Clearly, society has decided to give up. Which is its right. However, society also complains about rampant cheating and lack of commitment. That comes with free sex and no standards.
Cake comes with cavities. People want sugar without the diabetes. Life doesn't work that way.
