Yesterday's game really affected me. Maybe I'm overreacting. It is just a baseball game, after all. But throughout the years of watching hundreds of baseball games, I've never felt like I was ever watching something that could potentially be illegitimate, until yesterday. It kinda broke something inside me.
I'll hope for the best today, and continue to root hard for the Royals, but these umpires can all die in a housefire. And Lugo needs the edges to make his living, I don't expect him to get the calls, but hopefully I'm wrong, and today is a good, clearn game and we come out on top. LFG.
