I checked back a few pages and I didn't see any mention about Washington Park being a possibility of a downtown stadium.

The proposed ballpark would sit between Main Street and Grand Boulevard in Kansas City, just north of Pershing Road. Union Station sits to the west and Crown Center sits to the south. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City is moving out of the building that currently sits there. According to McDowell, the site only features three property owners, making land assemblage much easier than the Crossroads site.
