I hear you, but that is being awfully generous to these cops. You aren't legally obligated to roll your window all the way down. Even if it offends the poor, little officers feelings. What happened after that was 95% of the interaction.
Cops are trained in de-escalation. To be certain, only a fraction retain that training and employ it in the field. These shitbags get an F.
