The Kansas City Chiefs continue to make big moves before the NFL trade deadline arrives, this time getting an absolute steal by adding New England Patriots edge rusher Josh Uche in exchange for just a 2026 sixth-round draft pick.

Chiefs fans love to see their undefeated squad get even stronger, and you love a front office that isn't content to simply coast. Brett Veach and company are not playing around in their pursuit of becoming the first NFL team to ever win three straight Super Bowls.

Of course, not everyone is happy. Fans around the rest of the NFL are beside themselves. That's nothing new to Chiefs fans though, and the salty tears only serve to make the trade even sweeter. Just check out some of the highlights from the replies to Adam Schefter's post about the news.

And that's just a few of them. It really is a sight to behold for Chiefs fans. The funny part is the Patriots were the last team to get the kind of heat that K.C. does. When you're too good for too long, the rest of the NFL world will want to see your team fail. And that's exactly what's happening here.

As for Uche's fit in the defense? It was clear he was being traded before Sunday, as he was a healthy inactive for the Patriots. He's served as a situational pass rusher in New England this year, and his 72.7 pass rush grade from PFF ranks 25th among 190 qualifying edge defenders. He's also not all that far removed from finishing 11th out of 203 with an 87.8 grade in 2022.
