We have to remember that, for every QB not named Brady and Mahomes, winning in the postseason is hard. Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers playoff records are just a hair above .500. Drew Brees retired with a career .500 playoff record. And these are undoubtedly some of the greatest QBs of all time.

I appreciate Lamar for what he is while acknowledging what he hasn’t been so far (I could run for president with lines like that).
For me, a true franchise QB is a guy who wins a lot of regular season games, constantly pushes to win the Division, and
could win a Super Bowl. Lamar fits that for me. The playoff record and accomplishments just determine his place amongst the other greats.
