This is the key.

They've gotta just push for the 1 seed now. Just lock that up and let them all sort that part out on WC weekend.

That was always a big key for the Pats. Have the 1 seed, get the bye, then get the 4th seed coming into Foxboro. I'd guess this year you probably get a WC team coming in.
