1. Pistols with eight-shot clips inside my house with the power out on a moonless night. I know every nook and cranny of my house and routinely navigate it in the dark when I'm too lazy to turn on a late. An accurate weapon where I can fire off several shots quickly will give me a huge advantage if I have the jump on people. The cleanup afterwards would be annoying, but I'd deal with it if the stakes are high.
2. I'm built more for speed than power, so I would work better in space. However, my eyesight has declined over the years, so I'm not going to challenge anyone with sniper rifles at a distance. However, I had a lot of dynamics and physics courses back in the day, and that skill remains intact. So I would go with trebuchets at a distance of 500 yards on uneven terrain. I think I could adjust my fire faster than the average trebuchet user.
3. I got hearing aids recently, and I can turn them up to get super hearing. So I would go with shotguns in a maze that has very slightly squeaky floors. I walk somewhat likely, so I could likely hear someone moving before they could hear me, and a shotgun is hard to miss with.
What do you think? Are my assumptions good, or am I missing something?

Squeaky floors were actually the first thing I thought about with choosing your own place... I was just in an older building with squeaky floors and knowing exactly where not to step would be a huge advantage.
I like the trebuchet idea, think those were in Empire Earth years ago and was one of my favorite weapons.
Shotguns in a maze would be tough though... easy to hit a dead end or have very close combat. Depending on the size of the maze, perhaps you could get some paths down and have an advantage there, but I'd be concerned about that one, TBH.
