We are in KC so no NBA basketball and he really wants to go see Luca and Curry play. This will probably be the only NBA game I actually go to and seek out so I don't have any issues paying more for great seats. Already in Dallas on that date.
With all the fees on TM, id like to save myself $500-750 in fees since these tickets are sky high and purchase something at or around face value if possible.

No help for that specific game but I'd honestly wait as close to the game as possible before shelling out...which I get looks like a challenge for you trying to gift
The biggest knock on attending NBA games is regular season give a **** from players. I tried to see Booker vs Morant here in PHX a couple years ago and neither played in the game and Booker was like a day before decision for "reasons". I've found earlier in the season the more likely guys will play
