Bo Jackson was a complete dick to my best friend as a kid when they were filming a Cheerios commercial in my neighborhood in Lawrence back in the 80's. Bo was his favorite player right up until that moment. After, he traded away all his Bo baseball cards because of the interaction. I'm surprised by that interaction with Bo Jackson. I got his autograph as a kid outside the K twice. This was at the peak of his fame. Bo was pretty much the only player who stopped walking to their car to take time to sign for a large amount of kids all while dragging his young son behind him.
A friend in college had a little brother who was in the same grade as one of Bo's kids at school. I guess they had gone to birthday parties at Bo's house. Said it was a great even and the whole family was super nice.
