I understand all the passes - it is the same thing that bit Shanahan against us in the Super Bowl and the same thing that bit Harbaugh in the Championship Game. A Hunt stuff and back-to-back drops by Worthy on first down kept us in 2nd and long all three of those drives. Should have run on first down.
And Andy is still throwing the ball on first down with a backup deep in our territory. It's just who he is.
