I don't know why that call seems so ****ing difficult for refs... the flag is almost never thrown immediately and then there's always a huge discussion about it.
Do you see a receiver nearby?
Was he in the pocket?
Did the ball make it to the LoS?
...it's just not that subjective of a call.
