Steel men are bumming

The Steelers track record in short week games isn’t good. IMHO that’s for two reasons. First, they are a high effort team that plays physically and short weeks don’t allow enough time to recharge before the next game. They are beat up. Second, Pittsburgh wins a lot of games due to coaching and figuring out how to win close ones. On short weeks, they don’t have as much time to do that. Hence, it’s more of a pick-up type game favoring raw talent than a coaching matchup.
I cannot see them beating the Chiefs even with home field advantage which helps on short weeks. The only way they likely can win is by winning a shootout and Russ passing for 3-4 TDs. Unlikely. The other “chance” would be if it’s an awful defensive stinker of a game and they win 12-10 or something. The D looks porous so I doubt that.
I will be happy to be wrong, but the Cincy game is the real contest.
