A normal game day roster would be 48 players. With a 53-man roster, only a few guys get to sit. Others will have to dress, but Chiefs will limit their play.
If you sit Nick Bolton and Drew Tranquill that leaves Leo Chenal and Cam Jones as your LBs. Might have to use the 2nd PS elevation on this position.
Travis Kelce is sitting but if you also sit Noah Gray, you only have Peyton Hendershot or elevate PS TE Anthony Firkser instead of using it for a LB.
If you sit Hunt and/or Pacheco, that leaves us thin at RB. Yes, we have PS RBs, but only two players can be elevated for the game.
At Offensive line, Creed Humphrey, Trey Smith, Joe Thuney could sit, and we could still field 8 OL for the game. If we also hold out D.J. Humphries that puts us below the NFL rule of 8 OL and reduces our dress out number to 47.
At DL for sure Chris Jones will sit and probably George Karlaftis.
At DB Trent McDuffie and Justin Reid would sit. Maybe Chamarri Conner if he is still dealing with concussion.
It will be an interesting roster to see who sits and who plays.

You make a lot of great points. I didn't know that only 2 players could be elevated from the PS, so obviously there are many starters that will still have to play. I expect the following to be in street clothes:
Mahomes, Kelce, Pacheco (injured last week), Jones, Bolton, Reid, McDuffie.
I think Hunt will dress, but expect Steele to get the most snaps.
