The social media thing can't be understated. A good 80% of my feed right at this instant is AI-generated fake news. They come up with a story like Andy Reid is suing Tom Brady for comments he made during the Denver game (even though he works NFC games for Fox and was calling the Tampa game) and then they copy and paste that story to fake Bengals groups and fake Chiefs groups to get people riled up.

From the look of the comments, the average football fan doesn't even know the basics (like Brady not even being at the game) and eating this fake shit right up.
