Eh - isn't gonna matter much.
I always get a kick out of folks saying "Oh they'll just numb the shit out of PM's leg and he'll be good to go..."
As though a QB having a numb leg is in any way conducive to playing the position at a high level.
But a DB's shoulder? He ain't gonna feel a damn thing in that shoulder. They'll have that thing shot with every sort of horse tranquilizer and numbing agent known to man.
Won't make a difference at all unless/until he lands on it and potentially ruptures something. Aggravation is a risk, but he can play with a separated shoulder.
